JSC "Atrium" always pays special attention to quality of its products.

The Company's coal is unique in terms of quality specifications, including low ash content and high calorific value even in non-washed material. Coal seams with geological disturbances, as well as rock impurities, are subjected to additional treatment at washing plants and coal preparation facilities to improve quality before shipment to consumers.

All the Company's products undergo a multi-stage inspection by independent international surveyors. Initially samples are taken during the loading of coal onto railcars at mining sites. Using high-tech equipment complying with ISO and ASTM world standards, the laboratory staff determines the key parameters of the shipped coal and reports them to the customer within 48 hours from the time of loading. After that, coal quality is additionally checked during unloading railcars at seaports and before loading onto vessels, guaranteeing that consumers receive coal, which fully meets the characteristics stated in the contract.
