JSC "Atrium" coal company

JSC "Atrium" is a large, fast-developing coal company with a potential annual production capacity estimated at about 20 million tons of high-quality Russian thermal and metallurgical coal, including:

• 12 million tons of PCI coal;
• 8 million tons of thermal coal.

The Company plans to boost its production capacity up to 30 million tons per year by 2026.

PCI coal (Pulverized Coal Injection) is used by steel mills in pulverized coal injection technology, which is applied in blast furnace production to reducing the consumption of expensive coke, replacing it with a cheaper, more efficient and environmentally friendly PCI coal.
